Hayden Consultation Services = Heartfelt Care for Seniors
Dr. Lisa Hayden has devoted her professional career to the care and well being of those challenged with disabling conditions and aging. She began her career as a case manager and social worker in Adult Services in Orange County, California and brought her passion and dedication with her upon relocating to Ventura County after receiving her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University in 1996. She worked at UCLA for 6 years as training and dissemination coordinator, ensuring the best training in evidence based practices and has continued her work mentoring fellow health care professionals all over the country. As Clinical Research Psychologist and Principle Investigator at the Greater Los Angeles VA Healthcare System she has conducted pivotal research in meeting the needs of family caregivers. As a Supervisorial appointee to the Ventura County Area Agency on Aging she chairs the Health Issues Committee and provides expertise. Most recently, she has served as the Program Director of the Brain Injury Center of Ventura County wherein she develops and oversees the much needed services to those who have been affected by brain changes.
Observing the need for more hands on and intense supports, she is expanding the work she does to now include a concierge service for those requiring help navigating the maze of aging/end of life. Realizing that families don’t know what questions to ask and where to turn, she is delighted to be able to offer her wealth of experience to individuals, families and facilities within the greater Los Angeles Area.
