Sara E. Thompson

Sara Thompson joined the Hayden family in 2017 holding a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, in addition to a Masters in Human Behavior with an emphasis in child development. She initially became interested in working with individuals with Developmental Disabilities when she began specializing in Early Intervention as a behavior specialist with children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. It was not long before the passion she found in working with individuals with special needs solidified her career path. Sara has excelled in providing direct behavioral services and interventions for children, adolescents and adults challenged with a variety of disabling conditions. Due to her vigorous desire to provide clients with the most effective treatments, she became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in 2014. Sara has comprehensive experience working with families and training staff to implement the support systems and teaching methodologies required to create highly individualized treatment programs. Sara oversees the behavior analytic services for the Central Coast regions of Ventura County and South Santa Barbara County, working collaboratively with her team, and other professionals, to ensure quality programming.
